- Lizzo collaborated with Prince on his 2014 album ‘Plectrumelectrum’ for the song “BoyT rouble”. Lizzo called working with Prince a “surreal” experience and said it was “like a fairytale”.
- Lizzo was a guest judge on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2018. In addition to having Lizzo as a judge, the bottom two queens were tasked with lip syncing for their lives to Lizzo’s song Good As Hell.
- Lizzo appeared in a 2014 episode of reality series Made In Chelsea. The cast spent time in New York City where Lizzo treated them to a performance of Blondie’s Rapture.
- Her music has been featured on television shows including The Bold Type and Black-ish. It also features in the Netflix movie Something Great.
- She made her Billboard debut in April 2019 with Tempo featuring Missy Eliott, and her first single to make it to the chart was Juice, in September 2019. The latter was reportedly a part of former U.S. President Barack Obama’s Summer Playlist in 2019.
- Her silver flute has its own verified Instagram account by the name of Sasha Flute.
- She is the founding member of five indie hip hop groups – Absynthe, Ellypseas, The Chalice, Grrrl Prty and The Clerb.
- When her debut performance at Coachella 2019 was interrupted by technical glitches, she brought out her flute and powered through her finale song Juice. “I refuse to have another technical difficulty. If they ain’t gonna get the music right, I’m gonna get the music right,” Vulture reported her as telling the crowd gathered to watch her perform.
- She voiced the animated character Lydia in the movie UglyDolls (2019). Her acting debut came with a small role in the stripper heist movie Hustlers (2019).

- Lizzo has already sent free lunches to health workers across the US helping those infected with coronavirus, and is scheduled to play in Global Citizen’s One World Together concert to raise awareness for the World Health Organisation.
