Who is Lizzo?

Melissa Viviane Jefferson – known professionally as Lizzo – was born in Detroit, Michigan. Lizzo released two studio albums – Lizzobangers (2013), and Big Grrrl Small World (2015) – before the release of her first major-label EP, Coconut Oil, in 2016.
Lizzo attained mainstream success with the release of her third studio album Cuz I Love You in 2019, and has garnered praised for her plus-size body positivity and self confidence. Also in 2019, Time named Lizzo Entertainer of the Year for her meteoric rise to fame and her contribution to music.

Released

Lizzo's third studio album and debut major label LP was released through Nice Life and Atlantic Records on April 19, 2019. The album features guest appearances by rappers Missy Elliott and Gucci Mane and includes the single Juice.
