Who is Lizzo?

Melissa Viviane Jefferson – known professionally as Lizzo – was born in Detroit, Michigan. Lizzo released two studio albums – Lizzobangers (2013), and Big Grrrl Small World (2015) – before the release of her first major-label EP, Coconut Oil, in 2016.
Lizzo attained mainstream success with the release of her third studio album Cuz I Love You in 2019, and has garnered praised for her plus-size body positivity and self confidence. Also in 2019, Time named Lizzo Entertainer of the Year for her meteoric rise to fame and her contribution to music.
